We opted for their granite countertops, which, in hindsight, might not have been the best choice given the higher maintenance requirements compared to quartz. However, it was the installation process and the aftermath that left a sour taste. The team seemed knowledgeable and courteous during the initial consultation, emphasizing the need for regular upkeep to prevent staining. They even provided us with hot pads to use on the surfaces and warned against leaving liquids on the granite. But the reality of living with these countertops has been far from the 'beautiful, functional, and long-lasting' experience they promised. The installation itself was delayed twice, and when the team finally arrived, they seemed rushed, leaving behind a mess that we had to clean up ourselves. The communication that A & C Stoneworks prides itself on was lacking; we had to chase them multiple times for updates and to address issues with the installation. When we pointed out a few imperfections in the work, we were met with a dismissive attitude, implying that these were minor and didn't affect the overall quality of the countertops. The real kicker was when, after following their care instructions to the letter, we still noticed staining. It seemed no matter how quickly we wiped up spills or how often we sealed the granite, the stains persisted. A & C Stoneworks' response was underwhelming, suggesting that perhaps we hadn't maintained the countertops as required, despite our diligent efforts. For a company that claims to prioritize customer satisfaction and communication, our experience fell woefully short. The emphasis on the quality of their materials and the skill of their team did not translate into the kind of service and final product we expected, especially considering the premium we paid for what was supposed to be a high-quality, durable countertop solution. Unless they seriously revamp their customer service and installation processes, I would caution against choosing A & C Stoneworks for your stonework needs.
