Frustrating Experience with Overpromising Caregivers
I'm extremely disappointed with the services provided by Comfort Keepers. Despite their claims of creating individualized plans of care, the caregivers assigned to my mother seemed completely disconnected from her actual needs. The caregiver would often show up late, forgetting her medication schedule and personal care requirements. When I tried to address these issues with the management, they were evasive and unhelpful, citing 'communication breakdowns' and 'staffing challenges.' The Interactive Caregiving philosophy they tout is nothing more than a marketing gimmick; in reality, the care provided was lackluster and uninspired. For a company that prides itself on preserving the happiness and independence of seniors, Comfort Keepers failed miserably in our experience. TheNBRI Circle of Excellence Award they boast about must be based on criteria that doesn't include actual client satisfaction. Unless they seriously revamp their staffing, training, and communication, I would strongly advise against entrusting your loved ones to their care.
