I visited Xanadu Wines with high expectations, given its reputation as a renowned winery in Margaret River. Unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming from start to finish. The views of the vineyards were stunning, but the tranquil courtyard setting felt more like a crowded tourist spot than a relaxing oasis. The service was friendly, but our server seemed overwhelmed and took ages to attend to our needs. The wines were decent, but not particularly impressive, and the food at the restaurant was overpriced and underseasoned. The function spaces looked nice, but the noise from the other visitors made it hard to enjoy our tasting. The Wine Club, The Cellar Collective, seemed like a nice idea, but the perks and exclusive events didn't seem worth the cost. Overall, I was disappointed by the lack of personalized service and attention to detail. The winery's focus on delivering exceptional wines and experiences fell short, and I left feeling uninspired and unmotivated to return. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day, but for the prices they're charging, I expected a lot more.
