Disappointing Experience at FABRIKA48 - Overhyped and Underwhelming

I recently had the opportunity to visit FABRIKA48 in Košice, Slovakia, and I must say that my experience was nothing short of disappointing. As a freelancer, I was excited to explore their coworking space and potentially rent a desk for a few days. However, upon arrival, I was greeted by a rather unimpressive and disjointed atmosphere. The building's modern façade belies a somewhat dated and uninspired interior design. The event hall, while spacious, felt sterile and lacked any real character. I was also disappointed to find that the coworking space on the second floor was fully booked, with no available desks for short-term rental. The meeting rooms, although well-equipped, were small and lacked natural light. What really let me down, though, was the lack of community and flexibility that FABRIKA48 promises. The staff seemed distant and uninterested in helping me find a solution, and the overall vibe was more akin to a traditional office space than a vibrant coworking community. Perhaps my expectations were too high, but I left feeling underwhelmed and unimpressed. For a space that prides itself on being multifunctional and client-centric, FABRIKA48 fell short in my book. Unless they revamp their approach to community building and customer service, I would not recommend this space to fellow freelancers or event organizers.
