I'm extremely disappointed with my recent visit to Bicycle Cove in Madison. As an avid cyclist, I was expecting a wide selection of high-end bicycles and expert advice from the staff. Unfortunately, the shop failed to deliver on both counts. The sales team seemed more interested in pushing entry-level bikes on novice riders than catering to serious cyclists like myself. When I inquired about their high-performance road bikes, I was met with a lack of knowledge and unenthusiastic responses. The store's inventory was also surprisingly limited, with several popular models missing from their shelves. For a shop that claims to cater to both casual riders and serious cyclists, I found their selection and expertise to be severely lacking. Perhaps they're more focused on selling accessories and entry-level bikes to beginners? Either way, I won't be returning to Bicycle Cove anytime soon. With so many other great cycling shops in the area, it's clear that Bicycle Cove needs to step up their game to remain competitive.
