June 06, 2025Overpromised and Underdelivered: A Disappointing Experience with Aaron Cheng
I'm usually not one to write reviews, but my experience with Aaron Cheng Personal Real Estate Corporation was so underwhelming that I felt compelled to share my story. As a young family looking to buy a home in a desirable school district, we thought Aaron's expertise and 21 years of experience in the area would be a huge asset. Unfortunately, his service was lacking in several areas. First, communication was sparse and often delayed. We'd have to chase him down for updates on our home search, and even then, the information was often vague or incomplete. When we finally found a property we liked, Aaron's negotiation skills didn't quite live up to the hype. The seller's agent seemed to have the upper hand throughout the entire process, and we ended up overpaying for the property. What really took the cake, though, was when Aaron tried to upsell us on some 'exclusive' pre-sale opportunities that seemed more like a sales pitch than genuine advice. It became clear that his priorities lay with his own interests rather than our needs as clients. Needless to say, we won't be recommending Aaron Cheng to our friends and family. If you're looking for a realtor who truly puts your needs first, keep looking.
