Disappointing Experience with Bakken-Young
I recently had the misfortune of using Bakken-Young's services for my mother's funeral, and I must say, the experience was underwhelming. Despite their promises of 'unmatched quality of service' and 'personalized experience,' I found the staff to be somewhat detached and unhelpful. The funeral director seemed more interested in upselling us on unnecessary extras than actually listening to our needs. The grief support services they offered, while well-intentioned, felt like an afterthought and didn't provide the level of comfort and guidance we were expecting. I was particularly disappointed with the lack of follow-up after the service. It felt like once they had our money, they lost interest in our well-being. I understand that grief is a difficult process, but I believe that a funeral home should be a source of comfort and support during that time. Unfortunately, Bakken-Young fell short of my expectations. Perhaps they should focus more on the people they're serving and less on their marketing slogans.
