A Move in the Wrong Direction with Wayfinder
I'm usually not one to write reviews, but my experience with Wayfinder Moving Services was so underwhelming that I felt compelled to share my story. We hired them for our residential move in Buffalo, NY, expecting a seamless and stress-free experience, given their 5-star ratings and claims of customizable moving options. Unfortunately, the reality was far from it. The initial consultation seemed promising, with the team listening attentively to our needs and promising to tailor their services accordingly. However, the actual moving day was a different story altogether. The team arrived late, and it quickly became apparent that they were understaffed for the job. Our belongings were handled carelessly, with several items arriving at our new home damaged or scratched. The 'Home Protection Kit' they advertised as part of their service did little to protect our home, as we found scratches on the stairs and damage to the walls. What was supposed to be a full-service move ended up requiring a lot of our own effort to correct mistakes and ensure everything was properly packed and unloaded. The communication throughout the process was also lacking, with our questions and concerns often being met with vague responses or complete radio silence. Given the high price we paid for what was supposed to be a premium service, the value was severely lacking. Perhaps our experience was an anomaly, but based on our interaction with Wayfinder Moving Services, I would caution others to thoroughly research and consider alternative moving companies that can actually deliver on their promises of exceptional customer service and customizable moving options. For a company that prides itself on making the moving process simple and stress-free, our experience was anything but.
