Overpriced and Underwhelming: My Disappointing Experience with Autodynamics
I'm writing this review as a warning to others: beware of Autodynamics' smooth talk and flashy website. As a classic car enthusiast, I thought I'd found the perfect partner to restore my beloved 1967 MGB. Boy, was I wrong. From the initial consultation to the final delivery, my experience was a masterclass in disappointment. First, the communication was abysmal. I had to chase them down for updates, and even then, the responses were vague and unhelpful. When I finally got my car back, I was appalled by the subpar workmanship. The interior refitting was sloppy, with uneven stitching and cheap materials. The engine rebuilding was supposed to be their specialty, but my car still has a annoying rattle that they claimed to have fixed. And don't even get me started on the 'show quality' rotisserie restoration – it looks like they just slapped some new paint on and called it a day. For the exorbitant prices they charge, I expected nothing short of perfection. What I got was a half-baked restoration that looks like it was done by a amateur. The team at Autodynamics seems more interested in talking the talk than walking the walk. Unless you want to throw your money away on subpar work, stay far, far away from this company. One star from me, and that's being generous.
