Beware: Overpriced and Underwhelming Experience with Allocentrale Taxi
I'm still trying to process the disappointment I felt after using Allocentrale Taxi for my recent trip to Paris. As someone who values punctuality and professionalism, I was expecting a top-notch service from this company, especially given their claims of 'unparalleled transport experience' and 'highly qualified approach.' Unfortunately, my experience was a far cry from what I had anticipated. The driver, although friendly, seemed completely lost during the journey, taking a route that added an extra 20 minutes to our travel time. When I politely pointed out the mistake, he became somewhat defensive, which made the rest of the ride quite uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the 'fixed rate' I was quoted initially turned out to be not so fixed after all, with an additional charge tacked on at the end for 'traffic congestion,' which, might I add, was not mentioned in their initial pricing or terms of service. The vehicle itself, while modern and clean, lacked some of the amenities I had expected, such as functioning Wi-Fi and refreshments, which were advertised on their website. What really took the cake, however, was the complete lack of follow-up or apology from the company after I expressed my dissatisfaction.
