June 06, 2025Overhyped and Underwhelming Experience at Yoga Tea Time
I'm not sure what all the fuss is about, but my experience at Yoga Tea Time was a major letdown. As someone who's been practicing yoga for a while, I was excited to try out their Modern Psychosomatic Yoga class. Unfortunately, the instructor seemed more interested in talking about the philosophy behind the practice than actually guiding us through the poses. The room was also freezing, which made it difficult to relax and get into the right mindset. I've had better experiences at other studios in the area, and the prices here are definitely not justified by the quality of the classes. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day, but I won't be back to find out. The only positive thing I can say is that the tea they serve after class is pretty good, but that's not enough to make up for the subpar instruction and atmosphere.
