The 3:47am Panic Attack Realization

I'm not usually one to write reviews, but my experience with Xpert Travel has left me feeling utterly bewildered and more than a little disappointed. It started with what I thought was a simple request for a customized holiday package. I mean, who doesn't want their trip planned by experts, right? But as the days turned into weeks, and the weeks into months, I began to realize that maybe, just maybe, I had made a grave mistake. The team at Xpert Travel seemed friendly enough, but every time I tried to get in touch with them, it felt like I was being passed from one person to the next, each one assuring me that my concerns would be 'looked into.' Looked into. What does that even mean? My anxiety levels were through the roof, and I started to feel like I was losing control of my own holiday plans. I asked for a relaxing break, but what I got was a series of stressful miscommunications and a final product that felt like it had been thrown together at the last minute. The flights were wrong, the hotel was not what I had asked for, and don't even get me started on the 'activities' they recommended. It was like they hadn't listened to a word I said. I ended up having to sort everything out myself, which kind of defeats the purpose of using a travel agent in the first place. All in all, my experience with Xpert Travel was a resounding disappointment. Maybe they're just having a bad year, or maybe I'm just not their target market, but I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy. 1/10, would not use again even if you paid me.
