I visited the Uniting Church in Australia, Queensland Synod, with an open heart and mind, but unfortunately, my experience was marred by a sense of disconnection. As someone who values community and inclusivity, I was excited to explore their multicultural and multigenerational approach. However, during the service, I felt like an outsider looking in.
