June 06, 2025Underwhelming Experience at Townhouse Motel
I recently had the misfortune of staying at the Townhouse Motel, and I must say, it was a letdown. The room was sparse and lacked any real character, with a single queen bed that felt like it belonged in a college dorm. The 'necessary amenities' they touted were nothing special - a small TV, a worn-out coffee maker, and a bathroom that seemed to have been cleaned hastily. The check-in process was slow, and the staff seemed put off by my presence, like I was bothering them. The parking lot was cramped, and I had to park on the street, which wasn't ideal. For $80 a night, I expected more. The location was the only redeeming quality, but that's not enough to make up for the subpar accommodations and service. Unless they revamp their rooms and staff training, I'd advise others to look elsewhere for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
