I'm usually not one to write reviews, but my recent stay at the Super 8 by Wyndham Tuscola was a major letdown. As a frequent traveler, I've come to expect a certain level of quality and service from hotels, especially those affiliated with well-known chains like Wyndham. Unfortunately, this property fell short in several areas. The room, while clean, was cramped and lacked any real amenities beyond the basics. The 'free light breakfast item' was a joke - it was just a stale pastry and a coffee that tasted like it had been sitting out for hours. The WiFi was slow and kept dropping, making it difficult for me to get any work done. But what really took the cake was the complete lack of soundproofing between rooms. I could hear every conversation, argument, and door slam from the rooms around me, making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. The location, while convenient for accessing the highway, was also a double-edged sword - the constant traffic noise didn't help with the sleep situation either. For a hotel that claims to be 'dog-friendly,' I was surprised to find that the pet area was tiny and poorly maintained. Overall, I would not recommend the Super 8 by Wyndham Tuscola to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing stay.
