I've been using Rider Transit for a few months now, and while I appreciate their commitment to environmental sustainability and accessibility, my overall experience has been marred by inconsistent scheduling and unreliable service. As someone who relies on public transportation to get to work, I need to be able to plan my day around the bus schedule. However, more often than not, the buses are late or don't show up at all. I've tried using the route planner on their website, but it's not always accurate, and the customer service team seems overwhelmed and unhelpful when I try to report issues. I've noticed that the Transit Center, which I've visited a few times, is nicely designed and seems to incorporate some great green features, but that doesn't make up for the lack of reliability in their service. I've also had issues with the ADA Paratransit services, which are supposed to be available for individuals with disabilities. My friend, who uses a wheelchair, has had trouble getting pickups on time, and the drivers don't always seem to know the best routes to take. I'm disappointed because I want to support a company that prioritizes sustainability and accessibility, but until they can get their scheduling and service issues under control, I'll have to look for alternative transportation options. Rider Transit, please work on making your services more reliable and user-friendly – it would make a huge difference for people like me who rely on you to get around.
