I'm still trying to process the utter disaster that was my experience at Pets West Aledo. As a pet owner, you want the best for your fur babies, but this place fell woefully short. The moment I walked in, I was hit with the overwhelming smell of cheap dog food and stale air - not exactly the 'comfortable and cozy environment' they claim to offer. The staff seemed put off by my questions about their training classes and grooming services, and when I asked about the brands of food they carried, I got a vague shrug and a 'we have a lot' - um, thanks for the detail? The facility itself looked outdated, with peeling paint and rusty equipment that made me question the cleanliness and safety of the place. But you know what the cherry on top was? They got my pup's grooming completely wrong - instead of the simple nail trim I asked for, they gave her a full-on haircut that left her looking like a completely different dog. I mean, I've seen better-looking haircuts on a kindergartener's art project. The whole experience was a hot mess, and I'd advise any pet owner to steer clear of this dump. One star is even too generous - if I could give it a negative rating, I would.
