June 06, 2025Underwhelming Experience at Game of Heroes
I'm not one to usually write reviews, but my experience at Game of Heroes was a letdown. The 5,000 square meter playing field, while vast, felt somewhat disorganized and lacking in cover or obstacles, making the gameplay feel somewhat flat. The equipment, although touted as 'realistically simulated,' had some glitches and delays in registering hits, which was frustrating. The game modes, such as team deathmatch and flag capture, were fun but felt somewhat limited in variation. For 70€ per player, I expected more polished gameplay and perhaps more game modes or scenarios to keep things interesting. The staff seemed friendly but could have done a better job in explaining the rules and objectives clearly before the game started. Overall, it was an okay way to spend an afternoon with friends, but I wouldn't rush back or highly recommend it to others. Maybe with some updates to their equipment and gameplay, Game of Heroes could live up to its promising concept.
