The 'friendly and knowledgeable' driver I was expecting turned out to be more interested in his phone than in ensuring my safety or comfort. When I politely asked him to slow down, he seemed taken aback, as if customer concern was an alien concept. To add insult to injury, the vehicle itself was not as 'well-maintained' as advertised, with a peculiar odor that I can only hope was not a harbinger of something more sinister.
