June 06, 2025The 17-Minute Wait Broke Me
I stopped by Campus Copy Shop last week to print out some flyers for an event, and let me tell you, it was an underwhelming experience. I mean, I've been to high school printers that were more efficient. First of all, the guy at the counter seemed like he'd rather be anywhere else, and the wait time was ridiculous. I was told 10 minutes, but it ended up being 17 minutes, and I was the only one there. 17 minutes of my life I'll never get back. The print quality was just okay, not impressive, especially considering the price I paid. And don't even get me started on the 'design services' they claim to offer. I asked for a simple adjustment to the layout, and it was like I was asking them to redesign the Mona Lisa. They seemed put off, like it was too much work. For a place that's been around since 1987, you'd think they'd have their act together by now. But I guess that's just it – they're resting on their laurels, relying on their reputation rather than actually providing good service. Needless to say, I won't be back. There are better, more reliable places to get your printing done, places that actually care about their customers.
