I'm not one to write reviews, but my experience with BE Consulting Engineers was a perfect storm of miscommunication, unmet expectations, and a healthy dose of frustration. As a project manager for a mid-sized construction firm, I've worked with numerous consulting engineers, but BE's inability to deliver on time and budget was staggering. The initial consultation seemed promising, with their team of experts touting their ability to provide 'cost-effective and feasible engineering design solutions.' However, as the project progressed, it became clear that their definition of 'feasible' differed significantly from ours. The constant changes to the design, coupled with their apparent lack of familiarity with our specific needs, resulted in a final product that was neither innovative nor effective. When I attempted to address these concerns with their team, I was met with a mixture of defensiveness and condescension, which only served to exacerbate the situation. Perhaps the most disappointing aspect of our collaboration was the complete disregard for our project timeline. Despite their claim of delivering 'client objectives on time, every time,' we experienced delays that pushed our completion date back by several weeks.
