I visited Ateliér U Červinků with high hopes of learning from Ing. arch. Blanka Červinková, but unfortunately, my experience was a letdown. The studio, while visually appealing with its array of mosaics, lacked a structured approach to teaching. I enrolled in a mosaic course expecting a comprehensive guide on techniques and materials, but found the instruction to be somewhat disorganized and overly focused on Blanka's own projects rather than the students' learning processes. The custom mosaic orders and art pieces on display were indeed beautiful, showcasing Blanka's skill, but the execution of the courses and individual lessons fell short of my expectations. For someone looking to seriously develop their mosaic skills or understand the medium beyond a hobbyist level, I would recommend exploring other options. Perhaps with a bit more attention to the educational aspect and less on showcasing finished products, Ateliér U Červinků could live up to its full potential as a learning environment.
