I had been a loyal customer for several years, but after this ordeal, I'm left wondering if it's time to take my business elsewhere. The issue started when I tried to use their Zelle payment service, which they touted as 'fast and convenient.' However, the transaction was delayed for hours, causing me significant inconvenience. When I called their customer support number, I was put on hold for over 20 minutes before speaking to a representative who seemed completely uninterested in resolving my issue. They kept transferring me to different departments, each time asking me to repeat my story and providing vague assurances that someone would 'look into it.' It took multiple calls and emails to finally get the issue resolved, and even then, it felt like they were doing me a favor rather than providing the level of service I expect from a bank. As someone who values convenience and reliability in their banking experience, I'm extremely disappointed in Amegy Bank's failure to deliver on these basic promises.
