I stopped by Altura Coffee Company with high hopes, given their reputation for world-class coffee. Unfortunately, my experience was underwhelming. The atmosphere of the cafe felt rather generic, lacking a unique character that would set it apart from other coffee shops. The service, while friendly, was slow, and it took a while to get my order taken. I opted for their renowned Altura Supreme, expecting a rich and complex flavor profile. However, the coffee tasted over-roasted and lacked the depth I've come to expect from specialty coffee blends. The food pairing, which I was looking forward to, was also a letdown. The seasonal, locally-grown options sounded promising, but the execution fell short. Perhaps it was an off day, but my visit did not live up to the 'Altura difference' they pride themselves on. For a company that emphasizes quality and customer satisfaction, I expected more, especially considering their mission to provide an exceptional coffee experience.
