I'm writing this review with a heavy heart, still trying to process the lack of empathy and understanding we received from Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home during one of the most difficult times of our lives. My family and I were expecting a compassionate and personalized service, given their reputation and claims of being award-winning. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by a sense of detachment and inefficiency. The preplanning process, which we thought would be straightforward, was filled with misunderstandings and miscommunications. We were not given the opportunity to discuss our wishes and preferences as thoroughly as we would have liked, and when we did try to express them, they seemed to fall on deaf ears. The actual service, while aesthetically pleasing, felt rushed and lacked the personal touches we had requested. Perhaps the most disheartening aspect was the follow-up, or lack thereof. We were left feeling abandoned, without the grief support and resources that were promised. It's not about the flowers or the physical aspects of the funeral; it's about the people, the memories, and the respect for the deceased and their loved ones. Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home failed to deliver on these promises, leaving us with a sense of regret and disappointment. If you're looking for a funeral home that truly cares about your loss and your family's well-being, I would advise exploring other options. Our experience, sadly, did not live up to the standards we expected from such a long-standing and supposedly compassionate establishment.
