June 06, 2025Smashing Disappointment: Not Worth the Hype
I visited All The Rage last weekend with a group of friends, and honestly, it was a massive letdown. The Rage Session, which was supposed to be this cathartic experience, felt more like a pricey novelty. The objects to smash were limited and felt cheap, not to mention the 'smashing area' was way too small for our group of five. We ended up waiting for like 20 minutes just to get in, and the staff seemed completely overwhelmed. The Paint Splatter Experience, which we did afterwards, was slightly better but still felt like something you could do at home with way less mess and expense. The protective gear was comfy, I'll give them that, but the paint was hard to throw and the canvas was tiny. For the price, I expected way more. It felt like they were trying to make a quick buck off people's stress rather than actually providing a meaningful experience. The venue itself was also kind of hard to find and the parking situation was a nightmare. Maybe I just went on a bad day, but I wouldn't recommend All The Rage to anyone looking for a real stress-relief solution. There are better, more authentic ways to blow off steam out there.
