I'm still trying to wrap my head around the utter disaster that was my experience with Alarmco Inc. As a facilities manager for a local school, I thought I was making a safe bet by choosing a company with 30 years of experience in commercial fire alarm installation and service. Boy, was I wrong. From the initial design phase to the final inspection, everything that could go wrong did. The team seemed completely disorganized, and their communication skills were non-existent. I had to chase them down for every update, and even then, the information was vague and unhelpful. The security system they installed was supposed to be top-of-the-line, but it's been nothing but trouble. False alarms, faulty sensors, and a mobile app that's more frustrating than useful. I've lost count of how many times I've had to call them to fix something, only to be put on hold for 20 minutes or told that someone would get back to me 'soon.' Soon, it seems, is a relative term at Alarmco. The final straw was when they sent me a bill for 'additional services' that I never authorized. When I tried to dispute it, they became evasive and uncooperative. It's clear that Alarmco Inc is more interested in making a quick buck than in providing actual security solutions. If you value your sanity and your security, stay far, far away from this company. One star is even too generous for the level of incompetence I've witnessed.
