I recently visited Advanced Dermatology in Deland, expecting top-notch care from their team of board-certified dermatologists. Unfortunately, my experience was a letdown. Despite Dr. Schulze's impressive credentials, including his fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology, the actual care I received felt rushed and impersonal. The practice's patient-centered approach, which I had read about and was looking forward to, was nowhere to be found. My concerns were barely acknowledged, and I was pushed into a treatment plan without fully understanding my options. The clinic's emphasis on immediate appointments and wide range of services, while convenient, seemed to come at the cost of personalized attention. As someone who values a patient-centered approach, I was disappointed by the lack of explanation and empathy from the staff. Perhaps it was an off day, but I wouldn't recommend Advanced Dermatology based on my visit. With over 160 locations, I expected more attention to detail and a genuine commitment to patient care.
