I joined Actor's Edge with high hopes of elevating my acting career, but what I got was a watered-down, overly expensive experience that left me feeling disappointed and disillusioned. The classes were crowded, and despite the promise of 'personalized guidance,' I rarely got any meaningful feedback from the instructors. The 'industry insiders' they touted were mostly just people who had worked on low-budget projects or had dubious connections to the industry. The real kicker was when I discovered that the 'world-class training' was just a rehashing of basic acting techniques that I'd already learned in college. The Zoom classes were plagued by technical issues, and the 'supportive community' felt more like a clique of wannabe actors trying to one-up each other. Aaron Metchik's reputation as a 'renowned acting coach' seems to be largely based on his ability to self-promote rather than any actual results. I've seen better-organized and more effective acting workshops at a fraction of the cost. Unless you're looking to waste your money on empty promises, I'd advise you to steer clear of Actor's Edge.
