I'm still trying to figure out what all the fuss is about with Seattle Fish Guys. As a seafood aficionado, I was excited to try their supposedly 'fresh' and 'high-quality' offerings. Unfortunately, my experience was a resounding letdown. The Alaskan King Salmon I ordered was overcooked and lacked any discernible seasoning - it was like eating a bland, fishy brick. The 'Locally Smoked Alder Salmon' tasted more like it had been smoked in a factory somewhere, devoid of any real depth or character. And don't even get me started on the prices - $25 for a piece of fish that's barely enough for one person? No thank you. The service was friendly, I'll give them that, but it's not enough to save this place from its overall lackluster performance. With so many other excellent seafood options in Seattle, I wouldn't recommend wasting your time or money here. Maybe they should take a page out of their own family's playbook and focus on quality over quantity - or at least hire a decent chef.
