Disappointing Experience with Nelson Landscaping - Not Worth the Hype
I'm usually not one to write reviews, but my experience with Nelson Landscaping was so underwhelming that I felt compelled to share my story. We hired them to design and install a custom outdoor living area, complete with a pool and irrigation system, at our home in Edmond. The initial consultation was great, and the project manager seemed knowledgeable and enthusiastic about our project. However, things started to go downhill quickly once the construction began. The team would often show up late, and there were several instances where they would leave our property a mess, with tools and materials scattered all over the lawn. We had to call them multiple times to get them to clean up after themselves. The quality of the work was also subpar. The irrigation system they installed started leaking after just a few weeks, and the pool had several cosmetic issues that they had to come back and fix. What really took the cake, though, was the lack of communication from the team. We would often go days without hearing from them, and when we would try to reach out, our calls and emails would go unanswered. For a company that prides itself on exceptional customer service, we were thoroughly disappointed. The final product was nice, but the hassle and stress we experienced during the process was not worth it. We ended up paying a premium price for a job that could have been done better by a smaller, more agile company. Unless Nelson Landscaping seriously revamps their customer service and quality control, I would not recommend them to anyone. Maybe they're just too big and have lost sight of what's truly important - the customer.
