The setup process for our small business was cumbersome, and their process improvement suggestions, while well-intentioned, did not align with our operational goals. What was particularly disappointing was the billing service itself. Despite their promise of maximizing paid claims through timely and accurate submissions, we saw no significant improvement in our collection rates. Their relationships with state-funded payers seemed to yield little benefit for us, and the Electronic Health Record partnership, touted as a 'one-stop solution,' was clunky and hard to navigate. The remittance processing was slow, and denial work was not handled efficiently, leading to unnecessary delays in payment. Reporting was also not as detailed or insightful as we had expected, making it difficult to assess the effectiveness of their services. Ultimately, Walker, Miller & Associates L.L.C. failed to provide the peace of mind they promised. Instead, we found ourselves shouldering the burden of their inefficiencies, distracting us from our core mission of delivering high-quality care to our clients. For a company that prides itself on enhancing the business operations of its partners, our experience fell woefully short. Unless they address these systemic issues and personalize their services to better meet the unique needs of their clients, I would caution other behavioral health providers against partnering with them.
