About This Business
Sutton Forest Estate Wines is a second-generation family-owned property located in the Southern Highlands of NSW. With a rich history dating back to the 1820s, the estate has been carefully crafted to produce premium quality wines unique to the region. The Lo Russo family, with their Italian background in grape growing, has combined their expertise with the cool climate and rich soil of the area to create a distinctive range of wines. The vineyards are meticulously maintained, with hand-pruned vines and hand-picked grapes, ensuring the highest quality produce. Visitors can experience the authentic cool climate premium wines of the region at the cellar door, which is open Friday to Sunday from 10am to 5pm. The estate also offers a café, serving antipasto platters, cappuccinos, espresso, and teas, making it an ideal destination for those looking to indulge in fine wine and cuisine. With a minimum order of one dozen bottles, customers can purchase award-winning wines online, as recommended by the Qantas In Flight Magazine and SMH Good Living Guide. The estate's commitment to quality and customer experience is evident in its disabled-friendly premises and responsible service of alcohol practices. As a family-owned business, Sutton Forest Estate Wines is dedicated to providing an exceptional experience for its customers, whether visiting the cellar door or purchasing wines online. With its unique blend of Italian heritage and Australian terroir, Sutton Forest Estate Wines is a must-visit destination for wine enthusiasts and those looking to experience the best of the Southern Highlands.

Disappointing Experience at Sutton Forest Estate Wines
I'm not one to usually write reviews, but my recent visit to Sutton Forest Estate Wines was a letdown. As someone who appreciates a good glass of wine, I was excited to try their premium quality wines. However, the experience was marred by poor customer service and a lack of knowledge from the staff. The cellar door was beautifully maintained, but the ambiance was ruined by the noise from the cafe. I ordered an antipasto platter, which was overpriced and underwhelming. The wines, although unique to the region, were not particularly impressive. I was expecting a more personalized experience, given the family-owned nature of the business. Unfortunately, it felt like just another commercialized winery. The disabled-friendly premises were a positive aspect, but it wasn't enough to redeem the overall experience. Perhaps it was just an off day, but I wouldn't recommend Sutton Forest Estate Wines to fellow wine enthusiasts.
