A Disappointing Reminder of My Fave State
I'm a Colorado native, and I was super stoked to find The Colorado Store online. I mean, who wouldn't want to rep their home state wherever they go? Unfortunately, my experience was a total letdown. First, the website was kinda clunky - it took me forever to find what I was looking for, and the search function was wonky. I ended up browsing through every category, and even then, I didn't find anything that really jumped out at me. The products all seemed pretty basic - just your run-of-the-mill t-shirts and hoodies with some Colorado-themed designs slapped on them. I was hoping for something a little more unique, you know? Like, maybe some cool collaborations with local artists or something. But nope, just the same old same old. And don't even get me started on the prices - way too steep for what you're getting. I've seen similar stuff at the mall for half the price. The only kinda cool thing I found was the custom-designed tumblers they did with Klean Kanteen, but even those were pretty pricey. I ended up not buying anything, which was a bummer because I really wanted to support a Colorado-based business. Maybe they'll step up their game in the future, but for now, I'd say look elsewhere for your Colorado gear. Oh, and one more thing - their 'Tips & Adventures' section was just a bunch of generic touristy stuff. I mean, if you're gonna claim to be all about Colorado, at least give us some insider info or something. It felt like they were just phoning it in. Anyways, that's my two cents. Maybe I'll give them another shot someday, but for now, I'm gonna have to give 'em a solid 2/10.
