Disappointing Experience with A.M.B. Lift Inc
I'm really disappointed with the service I received from A.M.B. Lift Inc. As a business owner in Ottawa, I was expecting a lot more from a locally owned company that's been around since 1990. Unfortunately, their sales team seemed completely uninterested in helping me find the right forklift for my needs. They kept pushing me towards more expensive models without explaining why they would be a better fit for my business. When I asked about rental options, they seemed put off and told me they were 'all out' of the unit I needed, despite their website saying they had a large inventory available. The parts staff was friendly, but they couldn't find the replacement part I needed for my existing forklift, which was a bit surprising given their claim to be able to find 'any part for any make of lift truck'. The real kicker was when their service technician showed up late to our scheduled on-site repair, and then proceeded to tell me that the problem was with the way we were using the equipment, rather than actually fixing the issue. For a company that claims to be committed to exceptional customer service, I expected a lot more. Maybe they're just too big for their britches now, but as a small business owner, I'll be taking my material handling needs (and my budget) elsewhere.
