Despite their claims of providing 'high-quality education and career advancement opportunities,' I found the curriculum to be lacking in depth and the faculty to be somewhat disconnected from the industry. The emphasis on emerging technologies like AI, while interesting, felt like a buzzword rather than a genuine integration into the learning experience. The partnerships they boasted about, such as with Careers Central and Future Business Technology Group, seemed more like a selling point than a tangible benefit for students. I recall attending a networking event that felt more like a sales pitch for their programs than a genuine opportunity to connect with professionals in the field. The Academic Success Centre, while well-intentioned, often felt overwhelmed, leading to delays in getting the support I needed. Perhaps my expectations were too high, given their accolades like being named 'Business School of the Year' in 2023, but I couldn't help feeling that the school's commitment to student success was more of a marketing slogan than a lived reality. The diversity of programs and the global student body were indeed positives, but they weren't enough to offset the shortcomings in academic rigor and practical application. In the end, I graduated with a sense of underachievement and a feeling that I had to work twice as hard to prove myself in the job market.
