Marsella Family Vineyards is a family-owned winery located in Oakdale, California, on the banks of the Stanislaus River. The vineyard was established in 2014 when Farmer John and his wife Kristi purchased the 135-year-old Merrihew farm, turning their dream of living in the country into a reality. With 12+ acres of land, John decided to plant vineyards, and within a few years, Marsella Family Vineyards was producing its first wines for friends and family. Today, the winery is ready to share its estate wines with everyone. The vineyard's first planting was the North Vineyard along Orange Blossom, featuring a collection of red wine grapes including Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir. The winemaking process is a labor of love, with every grape harvested by hand with the help of family, friends, music, and great conversation. The wines are crushed and bottled on-site, and each cork and label is applied with care and a smile. Marsella Family Vineyards is committed to producing high-quality, home-grown, home-pressed, home-blended, and home-bottled wines that reflect the family's passion for winemaking and their connection to the land.
