Azimut diffusion is a multidisciplinary presenter and manager of the Marché des Arts Desjardins, dedicated to contributing to the cultural development of the Pierre-De Saurel MRC community. With a mission to provide a diverse range of professional performances across all disciplines of the performing arts, as well as a program of cultural and artistic mediation activities, Azimut diffusion aims to foster inclusion and accessibility for audiences of all ages. As a regional cultural gathering hub, the organization facilitates encounters between artists, their works, and the public. Led by Director General and Artistic Director Julie Anne Tremblay, Azimut diffusion's administrative team consists of six employees, supported by a dedicated maintenance staff member. The organization values the important contributions of its employees, board members, and volunteers in achieving its mission. In the 2024-2025 season, Azimut diffusion presented eight shows, with over 25 performances, within the walls of the Georges-Codling hall or in Sorel-Tracy's secondary schools, offering innovative novelties for young audiences. Partnering with Développement économique Pierre-De Saurel (DÉPS), Azimut diffusion emphasizes the importance of a performing arts venue in the region's economic development, particularly in Sorel-Tracy's downtown area. Through its activities, Azimut diffusion demonstrates its commitment to enriching the cultural landscape of the community, making it an integral part of the region's cultural identity.
