I'm still trying to process the utter chaos that unfolded when Ainsworth's team designed and commissioned the automated control system for our facility. As someone with a background in engineering, I was excited to work with a company that claimed to have a strong presence in the industry. Unfortunately, their 'strong resources and technology' seemed to be nothing more than a myth. The system was plagued by glitches, and the 'prompt response and support' they promised was nowhere to be found. I recall one incident where the system failed, causing a significant disruption to our operations. When I reached out to Ainsworth's team for assistance, I was met with a generic email response that seemed to be copied and pasted from their website. It took multiple follow-up calls and emails to get someone to actually address the issue. The 'training and project coordination' they provided was inadequate, to say the least. Their team of experts, including engineering technologists, seemed to be more focused on showcasing their technical jargon than actually solving the problems at hand. I was particularly disappointed by the lack of attention to detail and the seemingly cavalier attitude towards our project's specific needs. As a result, we experienced significant downtime, and our production schedule was severely impacted. To make matters worse, the 'multiple contact channels' they boast about were unresponsive, and it took an inordinate amount of time to get in touch with someone who could actually help. I've worked with other companies in the past that have provided far superior service and support. Ainsworth's vision of 'bringing together teams across regions and functions' seems to be nothing more than a lofty goal, and their 'social objectives' appear to be more focused on PR than actual customer satisfaction. Needless to say, I would not recommend Ainsworth to anyone. Their automated control systems may look good on paper, but in practice, they are a recipe for disaster.
