About This Business

Adotta una Mucca is an initiative from the Valsugana and Lagorai regions in the southeast of Trentino, Italy. The project allows individuals to adopt a cow and experience the production of cheese using traditional methods in the malga. By adopting a cow, participants can learn about the natural, uncontaminated environment of these mountains and understand what it means to live in a malga and take the cows to the alpeggio. The adoption process involves selecting a preferred cow from the available options in different locations such as Passo Vezzena, Val Campelle, Val Calamento, and Altopiano di Vezzena. For each adoption, 15 euros are utilized, with a portion going towards the management of the project and the rest donated to territorial and charitable projects. Over the years, Adotta una Mucca has supported various organizations, including UNICEF, Associazione 'Io domani…', Policlinico Umberto I di Roma, and Fondazione Città della Speranza di Padova, among others.
