I'm not one to usually write reviews, but my experience with Pillar Industries, formerly Power Adapter Depot, was a resounding disappointment. As a long-time customer, I expected more from a company that claims to be a 'one stop shop' for all manufacturing needs. Unfortunately, their services, including power supply and battery manufacturing, metal and plastic parts fabrication, and electronic components manufacturing, were subpar. The team's communication was lackluster, and the quotes they provided were not only slow but also inaccurate. I was expecting a seamless experience, given their claim of speaking the language of their suppliers, but what I got was a series of miscommunications and delays. The manufacturing solutions they offered were not superior, as they claimed, but rather basic and uncreative. The shipping and distribution options were inflexible, and the logistics management was disorganized. I had to constantly follow up on my orders, and even then, there were issues with the inventory management. It seemed like they were not prioritizing customer needs as they claimed. The trust, integrity, and reliability they boasted about were nowhere to be found. As a business owner, I need a partner that can deliver on time, provide quality products, and communicate effectively. Pillar Industries failed to meet these basic expectations. Unless they revamp their services and focus on customer satisfaction, I would not recommend them to anyone. The evolution of Power Adapter Depot into Pillar Industries seems to have been more of a rebranding exercise than a genuine attempt to improve their offerings. For a company that claims to cater to a wide variety of applications and industries, their inability to meet my specific needs was staggering. Whether it's designing custom products or providing global manufacturing capabilities, Pillar Industries needs to significantly step up their game to be considered a reliable partner in the industry.
