I'm still trying to wrap my head around the absolutely abysmal experience I had with Complete System Installation Services of Maryland, LLC. As a facilities manager for a medium-sized firm in the Baltimore-Washington area, I thought I was making a safe bet by choosing a company with over two decades of experience. Boy, was I wrong. From the initial consultation to the final walk-through, the process was marred by incompetence, lack of attention to detail, and a general sense of disorganization. The 'expert staff' they touted seemed more like novice installers who had never seen a furniture system in their lives. The 'latest installation technology' they claimed to use was nowhere to be found, and the 'accurate lasers' they mentioned were probably just a myth perpetuated by their marketing department. What I got instead was a team of workers who seemed to be making it up as they went along, with nary a chalk line in sight. The 'swift response' from their quoting department was a joke – it took them three days to get back to me, and even then, the quote was riddled with errors. I was promised 'timely service' and 'well-trained personnel,' but what I got was a crew that showed up late, took extended breaks, and seemed completely uninterested in doing a good job. The 'dedicated and uniformed crew' I was expecting turned out to be a bunch of guys in ripped jeans and faded t-shirts, who looked like they'd rather be anywhere else. The final product was a mess – uneven surfaces, misaligned panels, and a general air of shoddiness that made me wonder if I'd made a huge mistake. To top it all off, the 'prompt communication' I was promised was nonexistent. When I tried to reach out to the supervisors or truck drivers, I was met with voicemails and unreturned calls. It's clear that CSI of MD is more interested in touting its credentials than actually delivering on its promises. If you value your sanity and your furniture, stay far, far away from this company. One star from me, and that's being generous.
