Disappointing Experience with The Stepping Stones Group
I'm extremely disappointed with the services provided by The Stepping Stones Group. As a parent of a child with autism, I was expecting a more personalized and supportive approach, but unfortunately, that's not what we got. The therapists seemed overwhelmed and didn't take the time to understand my child's unique needs. The indoor play space, which I thought would be a great feature, was often chaotic and loud, making it difficult for my child to focus. The fine motor room and individual learning rooms were underutilized, and the group therapy sessions felt more like babysitting than actual therapy. I was also disappointed with the lack of communication from the staff. I would often ask for updates on my child's progress, but the responses were vague and unhelpful. The in-home ABA therapy services we received were inconsistent, and the therapists would often cancel at the last minute. I understand that The Stepping Stones Group has a reputation for providing high-quality services, but our experience was far from it. Maybe we just got unlucky, but I would caution other parents to do their research and explore other options before committing to this company.
