Not My Favorite Shore Stop
I'm not usually one to write reviews, but my experience at Morey's Piers was a letdown. As a long-time Jersey Shore visitor, I was excited to try out this supposedly iconic amusement park and beachfront water park destination. Unfortunately, the excitement was short-lived. The lines for the rides were ridiculously long, and when I finally got on, the ride itself was over in like 2 minutes - not worth the wait. The water parks were also a disappointment; the waves were weak, and the 'attractions' were just glorified water slides. I mean, I've seen better at my local community pool. The food options were your typical boardwalk fare, but overpriced and underseasoned. I did appreciate the effort to give back to the community, like the event benefiting the Eagles Autism Foundation, but that wasn't enough to redeem the overall experience. Maybe I'm just not the target audience, but for the prices they're charging, I expected a lot more. The 'FUNCLUSIVE' offer sounded tempting, but after doing the math, it wasn't that great of a deal. All in all, I'd say Morey's Piers is a solid 2.5 out of 5 stars - not bad, but not great either. If you're looking for a real Jersey Shore experience, you might want to consider other options.
