A Nightmare of Inefficiency and Overpriced Services
I recently had the misfortune of hiring Todd Home Services & Co for a flooring installation project, and I must say, it was an unmitigated disaster from start to finish. Despite their boasts of 'high-quality, expert installation services,' the team that showed up at my doorstep was anything but expert. The lead installer seemed to be learning on the job, and the rest of the crew appeared to be a bunch of inexperienced day laborers. The project took twice as long as estimated, and the final result was subpar, with noticeable gaps between the flooring and the walls, and a general air of sloppiness that I've never seen before. But what really took the cake was the exorbitant price tag that came with this shoddy workmanship. I was quoted a reasonable price initially, but by the time the project was finished, I had been nickel-and-dimed to death with 'unexpected' extra charges that added up to a small fortune. And don't even get me started on the 'professional cleaning services' they offered. The 'state-of-the-art' equipment they used left my carpets looking dirtier than when they started, and the 'expert' technicians seemed more interested in chatting on their phones than actually doing their job. The whole experience was a masterclass in inefficiency, overpricing, and general incompetence. Needless to say, I will never be using Todd Home Services & Co again, and I would advise anyone considering them to steer clear. One star is even too generous for this outfit.
