Overhyped and Overpriced: Not Worth the Hype
I'm usually not one to write reviews, but my experience with Lava Luna was so underwhelming that I felt compelled to share my disappointment. As a long-time fan of artisanal candles, I was excited to try their products, especially given the emphasis on natural materials and sustainability. Unfortunately, the reality didn't live up to the marketing promises. The candle I purchased from the Ochre Set, which was supposed to evoke the warmth of the natural world, ended up being a letdown. The scent was barely noticeable, and the burn quality was subpar - it produced a significant amount of soot and didn't burn evenly. For the price point, I expected a much higher quality product. What really sealed the deal for me, though, was the lackluster customer service. When I reached out to inquire about the issues I was experiencing, I was met with a generic response that didn't address my concerns at all. It seemed like they were more interested in selling their products than in ensuring customer satisfaction. Given the plethora of artisan candle makers out there who actually deliver on their promises, I would not recommend Lava Luna to anyone looking for a unique and high-quality candle experience. Save your money and look elsewhere.
