Underwhelming and Overpriced: Not the Empowerment I Expected
I'm still trying to process the disappointment I felt after my experience at Belle Boudoir Photography. With over a decade of experience, I expected a lot more than what I got. The studio itself is beautiful, I'll give them that. It's clear they've put a lot of effort into creating a unique and artistic space. However, the actual photography experience was lackluster. The team seemed rushed and didn't take the time to understand my vision or preferences. The makeup and hair team did an okay job, but it felt like they were just going through the motions. The photographer herself seemed distant and unengaged, which made it hard for me to feel comfortable or confident in front of the camera. The posing directions were awkward and didn't feel natural, and the lighting was harsh and unflattering. I was expecting a lot more guidance and support, especially considering the high price point. The final products were nice, but not worth the cost. I felt like I was just another client to them, not a woman looking to feel empowered and beautiful. The whole experience felt like a transaction, not a journey of self-discovery. Maybe I just had high expectations, but I wouldn't recommend Belle Boudoir Photography to anyone looking for a truly personalized and empowering experience. Save your money and look elsewhere.
