Dr. Garcia-Zuazaga graduated from Marquette University and later earned his medical degree from Penn State, where he graduated in the top 5% of his class. He then went on to complete his internship at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, and later became a flight surgeon in the United States Navy. After his time in the Navy, Dr. Garcia-Zuazaga pursued a career in dermatology, completing his residency at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland. During his residency, he was elected as a Resident Member of the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Dermatology and received the Dermatologic Surgery Research Award. Apex Skin encourages its patients to take an active role in their care, providing them with access to a patient portal where they can review their medical records, request appointments, and pay balances. The practice has multiple locations throughout Ohio, including Ashtabula, Avon, Canton, and more.
