Overhyped and Overpriced: Cressi Fell Short for Me
I'm usually not one to write negative reviews, but my experience with Cressi's diving gear was a major letdown. As an avid freediver, I thought their products would live up to the hype, especially considering the hefty price tag. Unfortunately, the quality didn't quite match the marketing buzz. The wetsuit I purchased was supposed to be top-of-the-line, but it lacked the flexibility and comfort I've come to expect from similar products. The material felt cheap, and the sizing chart was way off - I had to exchange it twice to get a decent fit. The watch-computer I bought was also a disappointment; the interface was clunky, and the battery life was nowhere near what they advertised. For the price, I expected a lot more. Maybe I just got a few duds, but it's hard to recommend Cressi to fellow divers when there are better, more affordable options out there. The research and innovation they boast about don't seem to translate to real-world performance. Unless they revamp their quality control and pricing strategy, I'd advise looking elsewhere for your diving needs.
