I visited Agriturismo Casale Del Noce with high expectations, drawn in by the promise of authentic Italian cuisine and the picturesque setting. Unfortunately, my experience was a letdown from start to finish. The service, while friendly, was slow and inattentive. Our server seemed overwhelmed, even though the restaurant was not full. The food, which I had anticipated would be the highlight, was underwhelming. The paninis, touted as gourmet, lacked flavor and freshness. The complete meals were similarly unimpressive, with overcooked pasta and uninspired sauces. Even the wine selection, which I had looked forward to exploring, was limited and overpriced. Chef Giacomo's creations, which I had read so much about, failed to impress. It seemed like the menu was trying too hard to be unique and ended up being confusing and unappetizing. The chef-at-home service, which we considered to make up for the lackluster dining experience, was not available as advertised. The whole experience felt like a missed opportunity to truly enjoy the essence of Italy. With so many exceptional dining options in the region, I would not recommend Agriturismo Casale Del Noce to anyone seeking an authentic and delicious Italian meal. Perhaps with some refinement in their service and a revisit to their culinary approach, they might live up to their promise, but until then, it's a hard pass from me.
